    Did any one make any New Years resolutions?

    I decided not to make promises I can't keep and have started the year as I mean to go on by going through the house and into all the corners full of junk and getting rid of stuff. The rest of the family (especially my husband) are not happy, but I am getting fed up with living in Steptoes back yard! All that can be used that everyone has forgotten about is going to the charity shop, everything else is going in the bin!:devil:

    Only one resolution for me C.W. ;)

    I had a number of mini-strokes - It was then they discovered I was a skinny type 2. I use a wheelchair a lot. I intend to be grumpy, 'cussed, and do without the wheels much, much more - so. So if if anyone wants to :cheer: my long suffering missus, bless her....:thumbup:

    (we don't have a carers section here do we?)

    Ah, Junk. I have a sister who did just that, - mainly baby's clothes and toys. Sold them on E-baby. Made 33% profit on new. Encouraged by that, when she was offered 3 black bags full of Next/Gap/ Fcuk brand clothes by a neighbour having a clear out, for £35, just before Christmas, she thought she'd take a gamble. So far, half way through one bag, she's made £75 - and that's taking off E-Bays fee and postage !!

    I think a carers section is a great idea. I try to encourage my grumpy old man (he has osteoarthritis) to look, but it is mainly us over sweet types here!
