    I have just been on the Diabetes UK website and they are looking for any one with type 1 diabetes with a dog.

    I didn't follow all the links, so am not sure if they just want folks in the UK but the web site is www.diabetesuk.org

    Why not contact them, personally I am in favour of cats. Dogs are nice if they belong to someone else...
