    Anyone tried Pomegranate Juice as a dietary supplement for their diabetes?

    I heard it has beneficial effects.

    Yeah - I heard that too.

    There was a report somewhere that shows that Pomegranate Juice was good because the sugar in it somehow didn't affect your blood glucose levels in the same way as normal glucose. I think it also had some benefits in controlling cholesterol as well - I'll see if I can find the report and drop you a link to it.

    I tired pommegrsnite juice and everyone else liked it, so I didn't get a look in.

    Was told that stuning nettle infusions helped lower blood sugars, but they taste disgusting!

    I have that battle with my partner - everytime I go the fridge, there is no damned Pomegranate Juice left.
    Always plenty of salad and boring stuff left though :(

    How friendly is your local pharmacist? They generally have a better knowledge of what works and what doesn't. As I am diabetic and my husband has osteoarthritis, we have got to know our local pharmacist quite well and often ask him fo advice before we make an appointment with the doctor.
