    Hi ljw45

    At the moment there is no cure for diabetes - there are treatments that pretty much keep the problem under control though - meds, insulin, diet control etc

    There is a lot of research being done into a cure for diabetes, and some are showing promising results, but even if they work, it will take yeasr before they come to market.

    If you are diabetic, the best advice is to keep taking the meds and keep yourself in good shape.

    Keep healthy and watch your blood sugar levels for now.

    It ain't fun being diabetic, but it isn't the end of the world either.

    Keeping healthy, doing the right ammout of exercise and watching your diet is good advice for everyone. Must do some research with some of the dieting organisations and see how they deal with a diabetic diet! WIll post how I get on.

    Tried the Weight Watchers Site. It seems you are OK on the web site if you don't have any special medical needs. It is a long time (over 15 years) since I went to a class so am not sure about that.

    I have read about Tibetan Medicine. It seems to work for quite a lot of people.
