    Just letting you all know that I will be sunning myself in Crete for a week and a bit from this Friday onwards.

    If anything funny happens to the forum, I'll fix it when I get back.

    Joan, who was a rather well-proportioned secretary, spent almost all of her vacation sunbathing on the roof of her hotel. She wore a bathing suit the first day, but on the second, she decided that no one could see her way up there, and she slipped out of it for an overall tan. She'd hardly begun when she heard someone running up the stairs. She was lying on her stomach, so she just pulled a towel over her rear. "Excuse me, miss," said the flustered assistant manager of the hotel, out of breath from running up the stairs. "The Hilton doesn't mind your sunbathing on the roof, but we would very much appreciate your wearing a bathing suit as you did yesterday." "What difference does it make?" Joan asked rather calmly. "No one can see me up here, and besides, I'm covered with a towel." "Not exactly," said the embarrassed man. "You're lying on the dining room skylight." :shocked:

    Cripes - I hope not :)

    Actually I will be touring around Crete checking out some of the interesting Archeological sites with a friend who is over from Alaska.

    I expect most of the 'sunning myself' to be outside restaurants with bottles of Retsina (fully clad)

    Enjoy BB - we went to Mohos for a day trip when we stayed in Malia a few years ago - it really is an idyllic little village square - I am jealous

    Back now and had a great time.

    Got the pictures and videos I wanted and also managed to stick away massive amounts if Retsina and local food whilst still keeping my bloodsugar levels 'there or thereabouts'.

    Now sorting through 20 thousand e-mails and hoping the re-entry heatshields hold out :)
