    I take offence to the term diabetes patients who are fat. There are wider issues to being fat than just being fat.

    I know a number of people who carry the extra weight because they have mobility and other problems, it is not as you imply because they eat too much or have an unhealthy diet.

    I just found out today that I have high blood sugar its running around 118 and my question is this considered diabetise or borderline?Ihave been put on a diabetic diet and would like to know about how many carbs I should have a day.Thanks Iwill appreciate any help you can give me.
