I'm a 50 year old Type 1 diagnosed May 2008. Managing my levels quite well so far, although it has been a bit of an obsession, so I'm trying to be a bit more 'chilled' about the whole business. I'm still waiting to spend a day where I almost forget my membership of this elite 'club'!

Blimey! Type 1 at 50. That's good going Don't worry about feeling a bit obsessive. What feels a bit single minded now will become second nature any time now. Others'll notice when you whip out your meter, or nip off to inject more than you do....
