Dray is not the boss, but he and I are regular posters on this forum. The boss of the forum is Bestbuddy who is in and out. Have you managed to look at many of the other posts yet?

    Hi Steff

Diabetes is a bit of an adventure. When to take meds, what to eat, how often, ect.

Greatest fun I've found about being type 2, is the cooking. I really enjoy being inventive in recipes for me
and mine. I've married to Paddington Bear, and have an 11 year old, a teen and a twenties, and mixing
and matching so we can all eat healthily can be hard work but great fun.

If it helps, if you are on tabs - some type 2's are on insulin too - having regular meal times and taking meds just
before or after seems to help a lot. I've taken metformin 3 times a day for years. My meter - mmol, is regularly
in the 6's. Very rare it goes over 7.

Watch it with alchohol. It'll lower your blood sugar level, which is not good if you can keep it keep a usual 7 or below.

And no, drinking lots of beer isn't a good thing
