I am finding it hard to deal with diabetes (type 2). I was diagnosed last November. Can anyone give me any tips ?

Take each day as it comes, use these boards to look for usefull comments, think about joining someting like Diabates UK (www.diabetes.uk.org) Keep medical appointments and share any worries you have with others who may be able to help.

I was diagnosed around Easter 2006 and it took me ages to come to terms with it, I had a lot (and still have a lot) going on in my life.

Do you have any family or friends around who could support you? One thing I have learned is it is OK to ask for help.

Are you in the UK, as you have a long teerm medical condition you could go on an expert patients course if there is one in you area. Look for the thread titled EPERT PATIENTS COURSE.

Hope this is of some help, keep well be happy and remember you are not alone.
