I am hypertensive and some of my hypertensive friends have already progressed to T2Diabetic from hypertensive.
I am taking ARB group of medication known as Diovan to lower my BP and to delay my new onset T2D and at the same time watch out on those diet, Any1 knows this method will work or a better suggestion to prevent development of diabetic ?

Me and friends have used this site for a year now to save $$$ on our medications and glad to reconmend to others based on thier good services.

    Well, whoa :)

I was hypertensive, but with the correct medication, that's now stable. However, I am a type 2, and that, with the correct meds, that's stable too.

If your hypertensive and type two have been diagnosed at the same time, there's a good chance there are other factors like a bad diet and/or being overweight ect. There's no magic fix. Looking after yourself and watching what you eat works.

    I agree with Dray.

Also those of us fortunate to be in UK and with medical exemption certificate because we take the pills get free meds anyway!
