Almost no probs as far as I'm aware. In fact, excellent.

The better you look after your feet as a diabetic, the better.

Uk Diabetics get to see a podiatrist free, at least once a year, who will advice you how to trim your nails, and how to look after your feet.

The reason for that is that sometimes diabetics can, as a result of their diabetes, find them themselves suffering from either pain or lack of sensation in feet and fingers called neuropathy. It's a result of nerve damage in the extremities caused by diabetes.

In itself, it's just uncomfortable. But if you have no sensation in fingers or toes, and you should give them a knock, you might damage yourself, and not realise it, and have cuts and infections that can become ulcers. Its very common.

The only time I'd advice against high pressure jet or bubbly foot or any jet baths, is if you're taking medication like Warfarin, or other blood thinning tablets. That's because the high pressure jets can burst minor blood vessels which can cause a lot of problems.

Otherwise, anything that keeps your feet clean and healthy has got to be good

The hospital advised me against using a foot spa as some of them heat the water and the water can get too hot, therby scalding feet. If you are still unsure visit podiatrist or other diabetic specialist for advice.

I like bath water quite hot, so have a bath thermometer at the tap end of my bath.
