I didn't build one in yesterdaymornings snow, but did any one have the snow long enough to build a snow man?

Humph! Bear and I wish C.W.

Up here in Sunny Sheffy, we had five hours of blizzard conditions yesterday. Did it settle? Nope. And we live
way up on a hill. My youngest is eleven, and I can only remember taking her sledging once, and building a snow gnome twice.

Meanwhile, just five miles away in Derbyshire, farmers are dressing lambs in cute orange coats to keep them warm in the snow....

Tho' there's more light white stuff forecast, we don't hold out much hope at this time of year (sulk!)

    Chuffin' cold though !

May I chuck in an advert for readers that this forum can be accessed by an Atom or RSS feed? The advantage is that
the last posts in any section are available as a drop down list from the top bar in your web-browser when you click
on it. (It's known as a Live Bookmark).

In my part of London the snow had gone by early afternoon. Gave the other half all the excuse he wanted not to mow the lawn. I enjoyed it from the warmth behind the net curtains and kept myself busy...
