Being of that gender, there are times when I retain fluids, it is bloody uncomfortable too.
Try nettle teabags or dandelion tea bags, while keeping up the fluids. I can sometimes get mine from the supermarket where they are cheaper, or from the health food shop, or some pharmacies that do complimentary remedire too.
One of the major things to avoid is salt.
Play about with herbs as a handfull of herbs (dried or fresh) add flavour to food, as do some spices. You also need to be ware as too much spice or some strong spices raise the old blood pressure.
Plenty of fresh fruit and vege help to avoid bloating and give some traction to the insides too.
