    Hi my name is Diane. I am currently in my 4th year at university and just now I am doing my project for my dissertation.My project is looking to find out if type 1 diabetics have a different social experience at university compared to non diabetic students. Therefore I am currently looking to recruit as many type 1 diabetic students at college or university as possible. This is an area I am really interested in as diabetes runs in my family and my brother is a type one diabetic who is at the age when alcohol is a significant part in his social life. I also hope to go on in the future to study diabetes and therefore I am looking to learn as much as I can.     Hi Diane, I'm type 2 and not a student, but wanted to wish you good luck. For some time I have been trying to get the staff resteraunt at work to take any one (not just diabetics) with special dietry needs into account, even if it is only to produce a list of ingredients.
