    Is any one celebrating Valentines Day? What sort of things will you be getting each other or your significant other?
    This year is also my 27th wedding anniversary, and \i'd have been free a long time ago if I'd murderd the bugger! Actually when he remembers to take his pain killers, he's not bad. We will probably have a takeaway that night and buy presents when we each see something we really want. I'm not keen on flowers and neither of us can eat much chocolate, so those options are out, we'll probably end up with a book or CD or DVD that we like and that will last.:hugging::grouphug::twosome::crush::threesome::kissing:

    Shhhh!

    My lass fell out with her then boyfriend 24 years ago, and knocked on my door asking me to phone for a taxi - hate to think what the meter reads now....
    Perhaps that 'baby doll' nighty had something to do with it. (Gosh, remember them !). Lol!

    It's our 20'th. Taxi !! :jumping::thumbup:

    I remember baby doll nighties, I had a couple. As I was a big girl they did nothing for me in the seduction department. I now wear things that cover me from neck to ankle and keep me warm.

    I got the old sod his present today, three A Touch of Frost DVDs on sale in Morrisons.

    Awww, that's sweet! My lass will prob buy herself a big box of choccys - and eat them in front of me. She's always been a chunky monkey. She's the most blessed, good hearted and loving person I know, and I couldn't imagine her any other way. I suspect she's just like you :bigsmile:

    Love is, ducks, love is. She'll probably get me a corny, flowery, 50's style card (I'm more modernist, don't'cha'know) but ah, what the heck!
    Dunno what to get her tho'. never thought of buying her a DVD. Good idea - she's a big 'Carry On' fan, so something with Kenneth Williams in
    might guarantee a romantic evening.....

    Carry on Films are great fun. I wanted to make sure I got something romanic, so I bought Love Story. I wont force it on himself as it is a good kleenex job. I'll pop into Chocology and get a box of low carb sugar free chocs too...

    I tend to get something funny in the card line for himself and he always seems quite happy with it. I've never seen an anniversary and valentine card combined, but I'h hopefull...
