    www.diabetes.org is the American version, and I found this site through www.diabeticshop.co.uk

    The local library may be of help with books and various sites like NHS direct might help.

    Hi there. I'm just new to your site. I wonder can anyone tell me if they've heard of research in Ireland on a cure for diabetes?
    It was on the National Irish Television station RTE last year I think. I think they were talking about injecting a diabetic with cells and it might work for 5 years, though still researching. It had something to do with DCU College. I can't seem to find anything on it though.
