"My brother is a diabetic and had heart problems while on vacation in South Africa. He went to a physician specializing in Internal Medicine who, after he solved problems that he has lived with a long time, also told him that most of his problems are accelerated by the lifestyle he has lived, including that he was a smoker and about 10kgs overweight. He had a desk job and being in a very stressful work environment.

I decided to take a health holiday to Cape Town. The genetic tests were done beforehand, and on arrival that was used to design my unique health plan. I was really thankful to learn that I could probably avoid becoming a diabetic by eating healthy, and exercising enough to keep my weight in check.
I enjoyed sumptuous meals, took long walks and attended tai-chi breathing classes at dawn. The beautiful Winelands was probably part of what inspired me to make a new investment in my health."

So I suggest every one that if they want quality treatment then please contact 1.303.578.0719, info@placidway.com

http://www.placidway.com/profile/853/Blueprint-Health-and-Benefit

Hi I am new here as of today but my issue is rather urgent... we sort of. More uncomfortable than anything. My Doctor recently switched my Lantus for Levemir. I use the same dose of Levemir (74 U) as I did with the Lantus. With Lantus I would get a small quarter size wealt and it would be gone in 24 hours. With the Levemir I have wealts the size of a small orange! They last for 3-4 days. I was wondering if anyone has had this type of reaction. Other than that it works just as well as the Lantus. I am worried that I will end up with severe cellulitis. Opinions?

Hiya folks. I'm currently on Metformin. Have been for a few years now. It works for me that I take it a regular time - keeps me in the 6's (or lower!)

Trouble is, unless I eat at least - Something - (i.e. I have to have a small snack) when I take a tab, I can be very uncomfortable with tummy upsets and er.. stuff. Not much fun when you're trying to watch the waistline. Tried taking it with meals - but if I eat a full meal, blood sugars drop for a couple of hours or so - so not a good time to take metformin for me (I've had metformin hypo'sdoing that)

Is this unusual?
